The project, which spanned 5 months during the Spring and Summer of 2022, initially started as a macro study looking at the various shapes and textures in the river where there is a both a sense of chaos and harmony as the river flow meets and separates at various instances along its journey. Shapes and form within the flow lend themselves well to  embellished with acrylic ink to highlight their juxtaposition with one another. At the same time, a sympathetic touch ensures that their true form and beauty, as determined by nature, is preserved.

The 12 images are 20” x 16” and are printed on professional archival paper, where each one has been individually embellished with acid-free inks. The photographer’s signature on each image has been intentionally positioned on the back of the print, should the viewer wish to appreciate it from a different orientation.
